Heya !!!
Xylem is the tissue of vascular bundle that transports water and minerals from the roots to other plant parts...
They are made of four different elements :
➡Tracheids :They are dead cells without protoplasm... It's main function is to transport water...
➡Vessel : They are also dead cells as they are devoid of protoplasm...The presence of vessels is characteristic feature of angiosperms...
➡Xylem fibres : They are dead cells... They are highly thickened with lignified walls...
➡Xylem parenchyma : These are living cells .. They store food materials like starch, fats and tannins...they help in radial conduction of water...
Hope this helps you :)
