Impure matter or Mixtures are of two types.
1.) Homogenous Mixtures
2.) Heterogeneous Mixtures

✔ The substance in which the constituent materials are not have a definite proportion are called Mixtures.
✔ The type of mixture in which the constituent substances are mixed thoroughly
and the boundary between cannot be seen, are called as Homogeneous Mixtures.
For example, Salt water and Sugar solution.
✔ The type of mixtures in which the constituent substances can be seen and are not mixed thoroughly are called as Heterogenous Mixtures.
For example, the mixture of sand and water, the mixture of oil and water etc.
