Eg- litmus, turmeric, red cabbage, beetroot juice.

Synthetic Indicators:

Synthetic indicators or artificial indicators are acid- base indicators prepared from artificial substances known as synthetic indicators.

Eg- phenolphthalein and methyl orange.
