• There are two types of units: simple and compound.
• To create simple units, go to Gateway of tally>Inventory info>Units of measure>Create, define the symbol of the unit, specify the formal name.
• To create compound units, go to Gateway of tally>Inventory info>Units of measure> Create, select compound type, select first unit, specify conversion, specify second unit, use CTRL+A or  accept the screen for saving of compound unit creation.
