Hey!

There are 4 types of plastids:

<> chloroplast => They are responsibility for the green colour of the leaves as they have chlorophyll and are present in the green parts if the plant.

<> chromoplast => They contain additional pigments and give colours to fruits and flowers of the plants.

<> leucoplast => They are basically the storage organs of the plant.

<> gerontoplast => They are responsible for the photosynthesis
