there are 3 types of systems in chemistry
1- open system : allows exchange of mayter and energy between system and surroudings
2-closed system:allows only exchange of energy between system and surroundings
3-isolated system:does not allow exchange of matter and energy

Your answer !!
Systems may be classified into three types depending upon the movement of matter and energy
Open system :- a system which can exchange matter as well as energy with the surrounding is called an open system for example hot coffee in an open flask is an example of open system because it gain or lose matter as well as energy .
Closed system :- a system which can exchange energy but not matter with its surrounding is called a closed system hot coffee in a Stainless flask is an example of closed system because energy can be gained or lost but not matter
Isolated system :- a system which can neither exchange matter nor energy with the surroundings is called isolated system there is no perfectly isolated system however a system with is completely present inflow and outflow of the matter and is thermally insulated to prevent flow of heat .
