There are 4 types of teeth in our mouth.
the teeth which we use for cutting are Incisors.
The teeth which we use for tearing food are known as canines.
The teeth which we use for grinding and crushing food are known as premolars.
The teeth after premolars which are also used for grinding and crushing food are known as molars.

There are four types of teeth
These are
1. Incisors are the 4 front teeth in the centre of each jaw.They are used for biting and cutting.
2. canines are one on either side of the incisors in each jaw these are conical and sharply pointed for holding and clearing the food.
3. premolars are two on each side in each jaw next to the canines. premolars have two Hill like projections and hence known as bicuspid. They help in grinding and crushing the food .
4. Molars are the last three teeth on each side in each jaw. They are principal grinders and crushers of food.
The last molar of each side in each jaw is called wisdom teeth.
