Palindromes are the words when re-arranged and written, are spelled and mean the similar whether written back or written forth. Accentuation and "spaces" between the "words or lettering" are permitted.

Example - MADAM.

It is basically a sequence of characters and hence the word formed remains the same back and forth. Titillate is not a unique palindrome word in itself and does not spell the same on making any re-arrangement.
