Question :- How many variables are there in 4x + 15 -2x = 0 ?

Solution :-

As we know that, a variable is an alphabet or term that represents an unknown number or unknown value or unknown quantity . Ex. x , y , z, a, b etc.

or,

  • x + 5 = 0 => 1 variable x .
  • 3x + 2y = 0 => 2 variable x and y .
  • 3a + 5b - 6c = 0 => 3 variable a, b and c .

so,

→ 4x + 15 - 2x = 0

→ 4x - 2x + 15 = 0

→ 2x + 15 = 0

therefore, it has only one variable that is x .

More :- in 2x + 15 = 0

  • 2 = coefficient of x.
  • x = variable.
  • 15 = constant .
  • 0 = constant .
