Hi there !!
here's your answer

Dimensions of log of wood
Length = 2m = 200cm
Breadth = 30cm
Height = 20cm

Volume of log of wood = length × breadth × height

= 200cm × 30cm × 20cm

= 120000cm³

Side of ech wooden cube = 20cm
Volume of each wooden cube = side³ = (20cm)³ = 8000cm³

Number of cubes which can be placed in the log of wood

 =  \frac{volume \: of \: log \: of \: wood}{volume \: of \: each \: wooden \: cube}

 =  \frac{120000cm {}^{3} }{8000 {cm}^{3} }
= 15

So,

15 wooden cubes can be cut

hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

given side of the wooden cube is 20cm.

volume of the wooden cube = side³

= 20 × 20 × 20

= 8000cm³

given Length of the log of wood = 2m = 200cm

breadth of the log of wood = 30cm

height (wide) of the log of wood = 20cm

volume of the log of wood = l × b × h

= 200 × 30 × 20

= 120000cm³

ATQ,

we have to find the number of smaller cubes that can be cut from the log of wood.

no. of smaller cubes that can be cut from the log of wood = 120000/8000

= 15

hence, 15 cubes can be cut from the log of wood.

hope this helps...!!
