Answer:

4000 cubical blocks

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of log = 8 m = 800 cm

Width of log = 5 m = 500 cm

Height of Log = 80 cm

Volume of log = Length \times Width \times Height

                         = 800 \times 500\times 80

                         = 32000000 cm^3

Now edge of cubical block = 20 cm

Volume of 1 cubical block = Side^3

                                           = 20^3

                                           = 8000 cm^3

So, number of cubical blocks Can be cut from the log = \frac{32000000}{8000}

                                                                                           = 4000

Hence 4000 cubical blocks can be cut from a log of wood of size 8m by 5m by 80cm .
