Given :-

  • side of cubical block = 25 cm
  • dimensions of cuboidal block = 3m × 75cm × 50cm = 300cm × 75cm × 50cm

To Find :-

  • no. of wooden cubical blocks can be cut from cuboidal block

Solution :-

here,

 \underline{ \boxed{ \bold{no. \: of \: blocks =  \frac{volume \: of \: cuboid}{volume \: of \: one \: cube}  } }}

and we know that,

  \boxed{\bold{volume \: of \: cuboid = lbh}} \\ \\  \bold{:  \implies \: v1 =  300 \times 75 \times 50} \\

and

 \boxed{ \bold{ volume \: of \: cube =  {side}^{3}  }} \\  \\  \bold{: \implies \: v2 = 25 \times 25 \times 25 }

now, we have to find no. of cubical blocks that can be cut from cuboidal block

 \bold{:  \implies n =  \frac{300 \times  \cancel{75 }\times  \cancel{50}}{ \cancel{25 }\times  \cancel{25}} } \\  \\  \bold{:  \implies n = 300 \times 3 \times 2}  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  \\  \bold{: \implies n = 1800 } \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

so, 1800 cubical blocks can be cut from cuboidal block
