As we know Power=Work/Time

or W=J/s

or J=Ws

1kWh=1000W×3600s

[1kW=1000W,1hr=60×60=3600s]

=3600000Ws

=36×10^5Ws

=36×10/10×10^5

[multiplying and dividing 10]

=3.6×10^6Ws
