Answer:

In the sikkim builders use math every day to do their work. Construction workers add, subtract, divide, multiply, and work with fractions. They measure the area, volume, length, and width. ... Math is everyplace you walk into––work, school, home, or pet store.

The mathematics that has been used in the Monuments and Buildings of Sikkim is as follows :

  • With its tapering tower, square plan, and flat roof with projecting eaves, the Dubdi Monastery is a typical example of a Geometric structure. It also has a bell-shaped gilded dome on the top of its roof.
  • Lepcha houses are built on stilts or piles on sloping hillsides in Sikkim.  These houses are so well built that they even resist earthquakes.
  • At the Solophok Hill there is a statue of 87 feet high Lord Shiva in the sitting position at Solophok Chardham, a unique pilgrimage center that has the main temple of 108 feet.
  • Moreover, in almost all the structures of Sikkim, there is a vast use of polygons majorly triangles and quadrilaterals.
