Different types of microbes are specialised to different types of organic matter, between them covering just about everything...agriculture depends heavily on small microbes to convert atm. nitrogen gas to ammonia (NH^3)

they produce a variety of subsn. eg. auxins , gibbelerrinns etc.which helps in plants growth ...

Microorganism helps the farmer to turn and loosen the soil which helps to make it fertile. Also it is essential for decomposing organic matter and recycle plant material. Some microbes (i. e. bacteria and fungi ) helps to form association with roots which provides essential nutrients like nitrogen and phosphorus.
