Migration plays a significant role in changing the consumpion and distribution of the population of a place as migration can be defined as the locomotion of a particular living being. This directly points that if the number of people or any other living being is moving from one place to another then the consumption and distribution may increase or decrease as per the condition.

People who migrate to cities from villages or towns is of the reason to find new jobs and a better living these people depend on basic amenities like water,electricity,roads,education etc.,and there is a serious consumption in resources by these people.The Density of the population increases in the places of migrated regions.The people involve in many different activites depending on the area's available irrigation,minerals,power resources,industrial development,transport facilities,trade and commerce,defence etc., these factors have influenced the distribution of population of a place by the migrated people.
