the health hazards caused to the people working in the mines are
you are always exposed to the magnetic field as long as you are on earth
the worries should not come from not being on the surface but being in the mine itself
a person can suffer from black lung ,cancer and any health affect may come due to your career not the lack of being up top and also the lack of sunlight will affect the colour of your hair and skin but to make it lighter is all really but u have to be down there for years Severe vitamin D deficiency which will cause just about any disease.
