How modern periodic table is different from mendeleev's periodic law?

in Mendeleev's periodic table base is atomic mass but in modern periodic table base is atomic number

(1)The Element's were arranged according to increasing atomic masses.

(2)Position of hydrogen was not justified because it resembles both alkali metals and the halogen's.

(3)Position of halogens was not explained.

Modern Periodic Table:

(1)The Element's were arranged according to increasing atomic masses.

(2)Hydrogen was assigned a unique  position because of it's resemblance with alkali metal's and Halogens.

(3)Since the atomic no. of all the isotopes is the same, there was no problem in the placing of isotopes.
