there are many differences between monocot and dicot
1.monocot is plant seeds having single Cotyledon and dicot have two cotyledons.
2.leaf veins parallel and in dicot leaf veins are reticulated.
3.secondry growth is absent while in dicot it is present
4.tap root system and in dicot fibrous root system
5. vascular bundle usually complexely arranged in monocot and in dicot vascular usually arranged in rings
