Motion is relative term..

For example → A man is sitting in a train.
Then, The tree Which is outside of train is in motion but A person sitting next to that peeson is In rest as seen with refrense point of man.

The concept of relative motion comes in existence when 2 bodies have different velocities.... Suppose you are looking at a passenger of bus... according to you he is traveling with the speed as bus moves... but if another passenger looks at him he will see that the passenger is just sitting.... The reason behind this is that the relative velocity of those 2 passengers is 0 and and velocity of the passenger with respect to you is nonzero.....
