===================

i am going to explain .........................

first let us know the mreaning of digestive system

digesive system :- it is a tube which extends from mouth to rectum. it helps in the process  digestion

it consists of several parts

1)Mouth
2)Esophagus
3)Stomach
4)The small intestine
5)large intestine
6)Rectum

now lets see what is mouth diegstion

=> the mouth contains teeth,tongue and salivary glands

teeth:-

=> the teeth helps in cutting ,grinding ,chewing and tearing of food
.
=>they are of different types such as  incisors,canine , premolars and molars

tongue : -

=> the tongue helps in detecting the taste of food

=> it aslso helps to swallow food

salivary glands:-

=>there are may salivary glands in our mouth

=> they secrete a liquid called saliva

=> these saliva

1)  makes the food soft , so that it can be swallowed easily.

=> saliva contains an enzyme called salivary amylase , that digests the starch as well as carbohydrates  present in the food into sugar.

=>
 In the mouth, saliva acts to start to break down carbohydrates thanks to an enzyme called amylase

now let us the digestion of food in small intestine

=>i
t is smaller in the intravenous than the large intestine.

=>it is divided in to 3
1)deodunom

2) jejunum

3) ileum

=>
The walls of small intestine secretes intestinal juice

=>
 the pancreas releases enzymes to help breakdown fat, protein and carbohydrate,when food enters the duodenum,.

=> The gall bladder releases bile, which has been produced by the liver, to help further break fats down into a form that can be absorbed by the intestines.

=>it converts glucose, proteins into amino acids, and fats into fatty acids and glycerol.

=>
 villi  increases surface area for absorption .

=>
it is the inner surface of small intestine that contains small finger like projections .

=>and the food gets passed to large intestine
