How much 2.5 mol/L sulfuric acid solution should you use if you need 0.12 mole of sulfuric acid.

solution : we have given that, molarity of the solution is 2.5 mol/L. it means, 2.5 mol of sulfuric is present in 1 L of solution.

we need 0.12 mole of sulfuric acid.

so volume of solution = no of moles of solute (sulfuric acid)/molarity

= 0.12/2.5 L

= 0.048 L

= 48 ml [ ∵ 1 L = 1000 ml]

Therefore we will use 48ml solution of sulfuric acid if we need 0.12 mole of sulfuric acid.
