80 grams

Grams of sugar in 400 gms solution with 40% concentration = 400 * 40/100 grams = 160 grams

Grams of sugar in 400 gms solution with 60% concentration = 400 * 60/100 grams = 240 grams

Therefore sugar that needs to be added = 240-160 = 80 grams
