India lost its north-eastern part of Jammu & Kashmir, now known as Aksai Chin. Although to get back the land, its very difficult as China has built major infrastructure on it. Aksai Chin is cold desert, similar to our Ladhak but is separated by huge mountains. But Chinese share a boundary which is almost on the same altitude. This is the reason why it is difficult for Indian Army to get back the control over Aksai Chin.
