Flower crops are grown in  2125 hectares of land in Punjab which produces approximately 10500 tonnes of flower in a year. Other large producers of flower crops are West Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, and Tamil Nadu.

The area and production of flower crops are increasing every year in India.  Approximately 249 thousand hectares of land is used in the production of flower crops which produces about 2000 thousand tonnes of flowers every year.
