Na2SO4 = 142.04g/mol (so we're looking for relative atomic masses to 2 decimal places)

Sodium Na = 22.99 g/mol (from periodic table)

Sulphur S = 32.06 g/mol (from question)

Oxygen O = 16.00 g/mol (from periodic table)

We have 10g / 142.04g/mol = 0.07 moles of Sodium Sulfate.

Now all we need to know is how 0.07 moles of Sodium weighs.

0.07 x 22.99g/mol = 1.61g of Sodium in 10g of sodium sulfate.

Personally I would round that up to 2g since the question only gives the weight of sodium sulfate to the nearest unit but it's up to you how accurately you want to express your answer.

D'oh! Forgot to double it as it's Na2 SO4, there are 2 atoms of Sodium so it's 1.61 x 2 = 3.22g
