The Assam is a state on the banks of Brahmaputra river. Its capital is Dispur and it is not a city or town but only a part of the main city which is Guwahati. Assam is famous for its Tea, Limestone, Crude oil, Petro chemicals,etc. Kaziranga is the National Park of Assam. It is famous for its one horned rhinocerous. There are many things which are unique to Assam--like orchids, golden silk, holong tree and many others.
