How much electric work is done when a current of 0.5 ampere is passed through a wire of resistance 100 ohms for 5 seconds?

Electric Work done = I² Rt
[Where I = current, R = resistance and T = time.]

So, electric work done = 0.5 ×0.5 × 100 × 5 =125 J
