  • Hence, 2 moles of electron is required to obtain one mole of Ca.

Here, Number of moles of Ca = 10/40 = 1/4 ( Since,molar mass of C = 40 gram.

For 1 mole ----------- 2 moles of electron are required

For 1/4 mole --------- 1/2 mole of electron is required.

Now, 1 mole of electronic charge = 1 Faraday = 1 F

Hence, 1/2 moles of electronic charge = 1/2 = 0.5 Faraday.
