(i) H₂O → 2H+ + 1 2H+ + O₂ +2e Oxidation of one mole of water will require 2 × 96500 = 1.93 × 105 C. (ii) Fe2+ Fe³+ → Oxidation of one mole of Fe²+ will require 1 x 96500 = 96500 C.

Answer:

(i) H2O→2H++21O2+2e−

Oxidation of one mole of water will require 2×96500=1.93×105C.

(ii) Fe2+→Fe3+

Oxidation of one mole of Fe2+ will require 1×96500=96500C.
