Answer: The charge on electron is 1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹.

When the charge is 1C then, No. of e⁻ = 1/1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹

                                                                   = 6.25 × 10¹⁸ e⁻

When the charge is 2C then, No. of e⁻ = 2 × 6.25 × 10¹⁸

                                                                   = 1.25 × 10¹⁹ e⁻

→ 1.25 × 10¹⁹ electrons are present in 2 coulomb of charge.
