Given:

Current flowing though resistors= 10A

Resistance of resistors= 5Ω

Time for which current is flown= 30 mins= 1800 sec

To Find:

Energy transferred when given current flows through resistors

Solution:

Let energy transferred be E

We know that,

  • When a current is flown through a device, then

\pink{\boxed{\bf{Energy\:Transferred=I^{2}Rt}}}

where

I is the current flown through device

R is the resistance of device

t is the time for which current is flown

So, on using above formula for given resistor, we get

\longrightarrow\mathrm{E=(10)^{2}\times5\times1800}

\longrightarrow\mathrm{E=900000\:J}

Hence, the energy transferred when given current flows through resistors is 900000 J.
