The energy will be 0.33 KWh

Explanation:

Power = p = 2KW

Time = t = 10 minutes = 1/6 hour

Power is defined as the time rate of change of energy. So,

P = W/t

W = pt

W = (2KW)(1/6h)

W = 0.33 KWh

This energy will be used for boiling water in a 2KW kettle for 10 minutes

power =2 kw

2 × 1000

= 2000

time = 10 minutes

6 / 10= 1/10

energy = power × time

= 2000 × 1/6 = 1000/3

= 33.33 watt hour ans
