Answer:

Use Newton's second law: F = m*a (m = mass, a= acceleration, F = force)

So: F = (200 kg + 70 kg) * 4 m/s² = 270 kg* 4m/s² = 1080 N

hope it helps u

Given :

Mass of rider = 70 Kg

Mass of motor = 200 Kg

Acceleration (a) = 4 m/sec²

To Find :

Force

Solution :

Total mass (M) = Mass of scooter + Mass of rider

                        =   200 + 70

                        =   270 Kg

We know,

   Force = Mass (M) × Acceleration

              =  270 × 4

              =  1080 N

Therefore, the force needed to accelerate a 70 kg rider and her 200 kg motor scooter at 4m/s² is found to be 1080 N.
