Answer:

Green revolution was introduced in the late 1960. It helped the Indian farmers to cultivate wheat and rice using High Yield Variety seeds.

The farmers of Punjab, Haryana and western UP used High Yield Variety seeds, better irrigation facilities, chemical fertilisers, pesticides etc to increase production.

Many farmers bought farm machinery like tractors and threshers which made ploughing and harvesting faster. This also led to high yielding of wheat and rice in India.
