How much health did a supply drop balloon originally have?

I think it’s a cool mechanic that you can shoot down supply drops early if you want. However the one time I tried to do it, I realized the balloon had 2k health and I immediately said “not wasting the ammo.” I think that was in duo or squad queue so I’m not sure if the health scales between different queues. But either way it seemed like the amount of health made it not worth it at all to waste that much ammo.
