Temperature 1 = 20 °C, Temperature 2= 100°C

Chamge in temperature= 100-20=80°C

we know that,

Q = m ×C × change in temperature

where, C= specific heat capacity of water =4200J/(kg K)

Q = 5 × 4200 × 80

=1680000 Joule

=1680 KJ

Q =401.52 K cal
