The implementation phase in a development cycle of a project or a product is of great importance. In this phase the majority of the program code is written by software developers. The team should be quite careful in following specific coding requirements the one that the customers wish to have.
After the coding is done components from the old program are placed into the new system. This can only be done once the system is found error free during the testing phase.

The implementation
phase is the fourth of the five phases as part of the total MIS development
activity. This is because this phase involves implementing the actual solution
of the information system. A lot of time
must be spent checking that all modules of the MIS function independently and
as a whole. Extra time should be dedicated to ensuring that the functionality
of one module does not affect that of another.
