How much is 6x^2 + 7y^2 +9 larger than -2x^2 +3y^2 + 11?

(6x {}^{2}  + 7y {}^{2}  + 9) - ( - 2x {}^{2}  + 3y {}^{2}  + 11) \\  = 6x {}^{2}  + 7y {}^{2}  + 9 + 2x {}^{2}  - 3y {}^{2}  - 11  \\  = 8x {}^{2}  + 4y {}^{2}  - 3 \\ so \: 8x {}^{2}  + 4y {}^{2}  - 3 \: is \: larger
