To Simplify :-

( - 2 ÷ 3 ) × ( 4 × 5 )

Used Concepts :-

  • VBODMAS rule , where ( V ) is vinculum ( bar ) , ( B ) is Bracket , ( O ) is of , ( D ) is Division , ( M ) is Multiplication , ( A ) is Addition and ( S ) is Subtraction .
  • According to VBODMAS We have to first simplify the Vinculum ( Bar ) , Then Brackets like small brackets ( ) , Curvy Brackets { } , Large Brackets [ ] , Then ( OF ) , Then Division ( ÷ ) , Then Multiplication ( × ) , Then Addition ( + ) , Then Subtraction ( - ) .
  • In Mathematics ( OF ) Means Multiplication ( × ).

Solution :-

( -2 ÷ 3 ) × ( 4 × 5 )

As , there is no Bar , and have small brackets . So we first simplify small brackets .

( \frac{ - 2}{3} ) \times (4 \times 5)

  \frac{ - 2}{3}  \times 20

Now , There is no brackets , ( OF ) and Division ( ÷ ) . So , Now simply we will do Multiplication .

 \frac{ - 40}{3}

Henceforth , The required answer is -40/3 .
