Answer: (x^3 - 2x^2 + x + 4) -  (2x^3 + 7x^2 - 5x + 6)

= (1-2)x^3 + (-2-7)x^2 + (1-5)x + (4-6)

= -x^3 - 9x^2 - 5x - 2

= -(x^3 + 9x^2 + 5x + 2)
