NTSE – Selection Process

Students qualifying the stage 1 examination will be qualified for the second stage of examination. The minimum qualifying marks that a student must obtain is 40% in each paper (for General/OBC category students) and 32% in each paper (for SC/ST/PH category students).

NTSE Results 2019 for Stage 1 is declared by the States/ UTs in January/ February 2019 and for Stage 2 the scores will be declared in June 2019 by NCERT. The qualifying scheme for both the stages are similar i.e.for General/ OBC: 40% marks and for SC/ ST/ PwD: 32% marks.
