\huge\underline\mathbb\red{ANSWER....}

Mass of salt = 15 g

Mass of water = 485 g

Given

Mass of solution = 500 g

Mass percent of solute = 3%

Mass of salt = ??

Mass of water = ??

Solution

=> Mass percent of solute = mass of solute/mass of solution × 100

=> 3% = mass of salt / 500 × 100

=> mass of salt = 3×500/ 100

=> mass of salt = 15 g

=> mass of water = mass of solution- mass of salt

=> mass of wate = 500 - 15

=> mass of water = 485 g ANS.
