( B ) Types of unemployment are as follows :

( 2 ) Frictional unemployment occurs due to the change over of production technology or machinery, rendering the workers jobless for some time.

( 3 ) Structural unemployment takes place due to the orthodox nature of the Indian society, illiteracy, sway of age old customs and traditions.

( 4 ) Disguised unemployment is found in agriculture; wherein more than the required number of persons are ‘deemed to have employment’. They do not contribute to the total production.

( 5 ) Industrial unemployment is the result of conflicts between the employers and employees, leading to strikes, lockouts and closure of industry.

( 6 ) Educated unemployment is a situation wherein an educated person does not get employment.
