Zn + H2SO4 ---------> ZnSO4 + H2

1 mole of Zinc liberates 1mole of H2 on reaction with H2SO4.

1 mole of a gas occupies 22400ml at STP.

so, 224ml of volume is occupied by 0.01 moles.

It means that 0.01 moles of H2 is to be produced, which requires 0.01 moles of Zinc.

mass of 0.01 moles of Zinc = 65 x 0.01 = 0.65 grams

Therefore, 0.65 grams or 0.01 moles of Zinc is required.
