Given:

Intensity I = 2.4 \times 10^{-6} \frac{W}{m^{2} }

Distance r = 2.3 m

To Find:

How much power does a sound source generate.

From the equation of intensity in terms of power,

   I= \frac{P}{4\pi r^{2}  }

Where P = power

  P = I 4\pi r^{2}

  P = 2.4 \times 10^{-6}  \times 4 \times 3.14 \times 5.29

  P = 1.59 \times 10^{-4} W

Therefore, the power generated by source is 1.59 \times 10^{-4} W
