Use the volume formula = Length x Width x Hight (depth)
12 x 8 x 10 = 960 cubic meter of sand

Hope it helps..

Heya Friend, Here is your Answer ---

Given length of the cuboidal pit = 12m
Given depth (height) of the pit = 10 m
Given Width (breadth) of the pit = 8m
Now, Sand needed to fill the pit = Volume of the pit

Therefore Volume of cuboidal Pit = Length × Breadth × Height
= 12 × 8 × 10
= 960 m^3

Now, sand will measured in grams or kilograms
Therefore 960 = 960,000 kg
