how much should be added to -4 to get 6 by 7

let the number be x
x+(-4)= 6/7
x= 6/7+4
x=6+28/7
x=34/7

Hi ,

let x is added to -4 to get 6 /7

x + ( -4 ) = 6/7

x - 4 = 6/7

x = 6/7 + 4

x = ( 6 + 28 ) / 7

x = 34 / 7

∴ 34 /7 is the required number .
