How much sugar (in g) is needed to be dissolved to make 500 g of a solution of 12.2% (W/W) concentration?

Answer: we know

%W/W =(mass of solute/mass of solution)×100

So

12.2=( mass of sugar /500)100

mass of sugar = 12.2×500/100

mass of sugar=61 grams
