How much sulphur is to be burnt to produce 0.224 lit of SO2at NTP

Vol=0.224

Mol wt= 32+2(16)=64

Solution:

Moles=weight/molwt=vol/22.4

Wt/ mol wt =vol /. 22.4

Wt=vol×mol wt/22 .4

Wt=0.224×64/22.4

Wt=0.01×64

Wt=0.64g
